The Challenge
Dr. Franks has completed many successful procedures--all of which need to be cleanly displayed on his site for easy viewing for anyone considering getting work done. But with dozens of procedure types and an ever-growing list of procedures completed, organizing the site in a user-friendly way is no small task.

About the Project

Our team broke this project down into two primary components: content management system (or CMS) development; and design. The backbone of the project was three databases organized hierarchically, allowing Dr. Franks to present his work and organize the procedure "umbrella" (e.g. Face, Body), the procedure type (e.g. Face lift, Liposuction); and specific procedures. With the three databases linked properly to one another, a site visitor could easily see peruse the surgery(s) they're considering and scroll from one to the next until they're ready to book their consultation. The other critical component of this project was the design itself. Dr. Franks prioritizes demonstrating respect for his patients. Our team worked alongside Dr. Franks to make conscious design choices that highlight the beauty of the outcomes while not objectifying the patients.

Intersection
This project sits on the intersection of design and development. The site boasts a moderately complex system of interconnected databases that make organizing the procedures easy for the site admins. The front end design takes the content and presents it in an easy-flowing, clear manner. This combination of scalable infrastructure and design precision create a compelling user journey.
